Develops and implements human resources strategies, policies, and procedures that support the organization's mission, vision, and values. Manages and oversees all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations/performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment. Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state and federal employment laws and regulations. Develops and maintains positive relationships with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organization. Develops and maintains job descriptions, employee handbooks, and other HR-related documentation. Oversees the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits and wellness programs. Ensures HR operations are cost-effective and efficient. Provides routine guidance and support to managers and supervisors in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Develops and implements initiatives to foster a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
Position Summary
The Human Resources (HR) Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the human resource function. The primary goal is to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops a highly qualified and diverse workforce that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and to manage all aspects of the employee life cycle. The HR Director works closely with senior management and other department heads to develop and implement HR policies and practices. The HR Director works to create a positive work environment, promotes diversity and inclusion, and ensures organizational success. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, possesses excellent leadership and communication skills, strong HR knowledge, and a deep commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field
Preferred
Masters or better in Human Resource Administration or related field
Experience
Required
5 years: Progressive experience in Human Resources.
