Position Summary As the Health & Wellness Director, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing clinical oversight and ensuring high-quality care. You will support the Resident Services Director in maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, while also implementing our organization's policies and procedures effectively. Additionally, you will be an active participant in the community's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee. Key Responsibilities Supervise the provision of nursing services to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication management. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new clinical team members. Monitor and help manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate support for the community. Conduct resident assessments for pre-admission, admission, and ongoing care planning, including the implementation and updates of Resident Service Plans. Participate in care conferences, maintaining open communication with families and residents. Perform regular rounds throughout the community to ensure compliance and resident well-being. Ensure a safe, attractive, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, families, and visitors. Actively participate as a member of the QAPI Committee. Audit and maintain electronic health records thoroughly. Serve as part of the Administrative Staff and be available for on-call responsibilities. Take on additional duties as assigned by management. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including any updates. Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing Licenses/Certifications: Must possess an active Nurse license and current CPR certification Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience or leadership in Assisted Living or Memory Support settings. Skills & Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and procedures, along with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding long-term care. Exhibit a high degree of integrity and professionalism. Excellent communication skills and an ability to lead positive change. Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Familiarity with electronic health records, with Point Click Care experience preferred.
