Location: MT-Great Falls Department: Great Falls Clinic Medical Center Worker Category: Full time Health System Director of Pharmacy Great Falls Clinic Hospital Great Falls, MT As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Health System Director of Pharmacy at Great Falls Clinic Hospital, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws at both locations. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team. You will assist with the security of the pharmacies and controlled substances, assist in recruitment and hiring of pharmacy staff, ensure all legal, accreditation, and certification requirements are being met, ensure provision of optimal services, and enhance financial performance. Schedule: This position works at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, however, hours may vary, and can be long and irregular to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Required Qualifications: Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred Current Montana Pharmacist license in good standing 3 years of recent Pharmacy Director experience in a complex health system At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting Required Knowledge/Skills: Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services.
