Head of Distribution – Intermediary Markets (Managing Director)

Access Private Markets (APM) is reshaping how investors access private-market funds. Our interval fund platform provides retail investors, RIAs, and small institutions with access to top-tier private equity, venture capital, credit, and real assets globally.

The Role

We are seeking a Head of Distribution (Managing Director level) to lead APM’s intermediary distribution strategy. This executive will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding our distribution channels in the U.S. and internationally, ensuring APM develops strong and sustainable partnerships with leading intermediaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead intermediary distribution across North America and global markets.
• Identify, build, and oversee key distribution partnerships with RIAs, broker-dealers, private banks, consultants, and retirement platforms.
• Partner with senior leadership to set and execute APM’s global distribution strategy.
• Drive and oversee the distribution process to ensure best-in-class coverage across multiple regions.
• Serve as the face of APM with institutional partners, providing market insights, education, and long-term relationship building.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading distribution in asset management, ideally with alternatives or interval-fund expertise.
• Established, high-level relationships across the intermediary market (US and global).
• Proven track record of building and managing distribution platforms.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic leader who thrives in a growth-stage environment.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
