Base pay range $195,000.00/yr - $370,000.00/yr Position Summary...Sam's Club is seeking a visionary Group Director of Product Management to lead our retail media network (ads), marketing, data, and personalization teams. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with deep domain expertise and a passion for delivering member-centric solutions through innovative product strategies. What you'll do... Own Product Vision and Strategy: Promote Whole Product concepts and drive value creation in evergreen and emerging areas. Lead product discovery and validation processes to ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals. Develop and execute Go-to-Market strategies for mass adoption. Oversee Product Roadmap and Development: Own and align roadmaps for multiple product families with overall business strategy. Oversee MVP creation, rollout, and scaling processes. Implement Agile methodologies and ensure compliance with ethical norms. Address external market constraints and continuously improve PM processes. Guide Data-Driven Product Decisions: Guide insight extraction from complex data analytics to inform product decisions. Promote best practices in data analysis and feature analytics. Independently drive product and feature analytics using modern tools and techniques. Drive Customer and Client Needs: Foster a culture of understanding and addressing customization needs. Enable ecosystem creation to identify and solve unmet customer needs. Utilize design thinking and journey mapping to optimize processes. Influence and Build Stakeholder Consensus: Present strategic arguments and data to leadership and cross-functional teams. Build consensus in sensitive situations and serve as a trusted advisor. Coach team members on effective communication and business strategy alignment. Be a Champion for Leadership and Culture: Analyze business objectives and customer needs to develop and implement strategic plans. Attract, develop, and retain top talent through mentorship and workforce development. Cultivate a culture of integrity, ethics, and continuous learning. Or 17 years’ experience in product management or related area. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 14 years’ experience as a product manager. Supervisory experience and knowledge of accessibility best practices.
