With us, you have the ultimate opportunity to gain new and challenging work experiences and create an unparalleled, direct impact.Position SummaryThe Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs (GMA) is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the global medical strategy for Galderma's dermatology portfolio, including inline products, Nemolizumab, and future pipeline assets. This individual will drive scientific engagement, evidence generation, and cross-functional alignment to support launch readiness, life cycle management, and sustained medical leadership in dermatology.LocationRole is based in the Boston, MA, USA; hybrid, 3 days per week in the officeKey ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of global medical strategies and tactical plans for therapeutic dermatology assets, ensuring alignment with commercial, clinical, HEOR, and RWE functions.Serve as the global medical leader, representing GMA in cross-functional teams and contributing to brand planning, launch readiness, and life cycle management.Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional KOLs, academic leaders, and patient advocacy groups to support scientific exchange and advocacy.Oversee the development of scientific narratives, core medical messaging, and publication plans to ensure consistent and impactful communication of clinical and real-world evidence.Collaborate with regional and affiliate medical teams to ensure effective local pull-through of global strategies and to gather insights that inform global planning.Lead the design and implementation of non-interventional studies, registries, and natural history studies to address evidence gaps and support access and differentiation.Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging science to inform strategic decision-making and maintain Galderma's leadership in dermatology.Support training and capability-building initiatives across the global medical community, including onboarding, congress preparation, and scientific education.Ensure compliance with internal and external standards for scientific integrity, ethical engagement, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsAdvanced degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) required.Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in medical affairs and a strong focus on dermatology or immunology.Proven track record in developing and executing global medical strategies, including product launches and life cycle management.Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment with demonstrated ability to influence without authority.Strong scientific acumen and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally.What we offer in return:You will be working for an organization that embraces diversity & inclusion and believe we will deliver better outcomes by reflecting the perspectives of our diverse customer base.
