We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Services Director to lead our teams in Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Materials Management, Transportation, Concierge, and Security at an account in Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Description

The General Services Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple service departments, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and service delivery. This position is ideal for a results-driven, relationship-focused leader who takes pride in creating clean, safe, and comfortable environments that enhance the lives of residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and supervisors.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and operational standards.

• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Foster collaboration between departments to promote efficiency and service excellence.

• Build strong partnerships with facility leadership to support the organization’s mission and vision.

• Maintain a strong focus on customer service, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in environmental or general services management within healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.

• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and multiple departments.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

Salary:  $110,000-$125,000/yr
