Overview L.E.K. Consulting, a global management consulting firm with more than 2,000 professionals, is seeking an experienced marketing strategist to lead growth initiatives within the Financial Services (FS) industry sector. The FS Marketing Director will play a critical role in shaping go‑to‑market (GTM) strategies, building omni‑channel campaigns, and collaborating with regional marketing teams and FS sector partners to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Formulate FS sector marketing strategies and GTM plans to achieve sector and sub‑sector objectives, aligned with firm growth priorities.
Build and execute omni‑channel marketing campaigns, employing innovative digital tactics to meet engagement and lead generation goals.
Define content strategy and deliver high‑quality content assets across all sub‑sectors (Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, Payments, FinTech).
Develop campaign assets, tools, templates, and packaging for regional execution to enable revenue generation activities.
Collaborate with FS sector partners and stakeholders to build cross‑functional plans that rally around highest growth priorities, leveraging sector and key account strategies.
Create tools that empower stakeholders to engage with FS clients about needs and service offerings, deepening relationships.
Develop detailed plans, tactics, timelines, and milestones with clear communication of progress to FS stakeholders.
Craft compelling value propositions and storylines for sector GTM activities, ensuring messaging, credentials, and sales tools adequately portray FS sector offerings.
Understand competitive landscape to inform industry sector GTM strategies.
Use qualitative and quantitative data‑driven approach to measure, analyze, and synthesize actionable insights, disseminating knowledge across cross‑functional partners.
Recognize potential risks to GTM strategy success and develop countermeasures to mitigate risks.
Share regular updates with leadership.
Qualifications
10+ years’ experience in B2B services marketing, with extensive professional services marketing experience preferred.
Prior relevant FS industry marketing experience, either with a financial services company or a professional services firm, strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field.
Strategic thinker with demonstrated business acumen, analytical, proactive, critical thinker, client‑focused, and results‑oriented, with ability to architect and deliver high‑performing programs.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with high integrity.
Proven ability to influence, lead, and guide internal stakeholders, setting expectations and navigating concerns.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously, prioritizing and managing reprioritization fluidly.
Excellent project management and organization.
Customer service mindset with sense of urgency.
Strong collaboration skills and experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM.

Benefits Competitive base salary, performance bonus, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits package. The U.S. base salary range for this position in New York is $175,000 – $225,000 (USD), varying based on experience and skill level.
