Davidson is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Director in Huntsville, AL.

The Financial Planning & Analysis Director will interact with the Operations and Business Development Departments, and Senior Leaders to prepare financial forecasting for business planning and execution. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform annual and long-range financial planning and forecasting

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial briefs in support of reviews

Maintain configuration control of planning & budgeting tool, Vena

Perform various ad hoc financial analyses for management based on business needs

Interact and interface with internal organizations to understand data and the impact to the organization

Collaborate with senior leaders to manage internal budgets & spending

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field

10+ years of experience in accounting or finance

Knowledge of FAR and DFARS

Prior government contracting experience

Working knowledge of the innerworkings of Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures

Familiarity with indirect rates (pools and bases), service centers, and indirect rate development

Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Deltek Costpoint & Cognos, Vena experience required

Clearance Requirements:

Able to obtain an active secret clearance
