bout the Role
We're looking for a dynamic and hands-on finance leader to join our client's growing team as Director of Finance. This role is in response to and will play a key role in critical growth plans following a massive partnership. If you thrive on collaboration, process improvement, and providing strategic insights to senior leaders, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do:

Own the financial reporting process, delivering timely, accurate monthly reports and real-time revisions.
Oversee billing and revenue cycle management including claims, denials, and compliance with key performance indicators.
Manage complex compensation structures, including physician incentive plans and quarterly payrolls.
Ensure compliance with external audit standards and lead efforts to maintain tight financial controls.
Lead, mentor, and expand a small finance team, including Revenue Manager and Accounting Manager.
Serve as a collaborative partner with both internal stakeholders and external consulting/accounting firms.
Provide financial clarity to the board and physician leaders-attending early-morning and evening meetings as required.

Key Initiatives:

Rebuild and refine reporting tools to meet internal leadership and strategic partner expectations.
Manage reconciliations between internal data and external service providers.
Drive operational efficiency through better financial visibility and smarter budgeting.
Ensure a clean revenue cycle and improved claim submission processes.

Who You Are:

A hands-on leader with 7-10 years of private medical or healthcare finance experience, including at least 5 years in management.
CPA or MBA preferred.
A confident communicator who can explain complex topics simply and is quick to respond to physician or leadership needs.
Experienced with physician compensation modeling, revenue cycle management, and audit compliance.
Comfortable attending early-morning board meetings and late-day leadership sessions.
Proficient in financial tools including Sage Intacct, Nextgen EMR, and Excel.
