Were seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Director to lead our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Sunderland Elementary School in Sunderland, VT. In this role, youll take the lead in managing all aspects of the Healthy Kids Program Site.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt PAY: $18.00 $20.00 per hour

YOUR ROLE INCLUDES:

Staying on Track: Make sure the program and staff are aligned with all state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the guidelines set by our host school. Creating Fun: Lead hands-on, engaging activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Homework support? Youll be the go-to expert! Running the Show: Oversee essential program operations like tracking attendance and registration, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and ensuring smooth daily functioning. Connecting with Families: Keep parents and guardians in the loop through consistent updates via the Playground App. Team Synergy: Maintain open communication with your supervisor, keeping them informed of daily happenings and promptly addressing any concerns. By working collaboratively, well provide outstanding care, foster a supportive team culture, and address challenges head-on.

REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:<BR>To qualify as a Director, you must:

Be at least 18 years old Hold a BA, BS, or Associates degree And meet one of the following criteria: 10+ months of direct experience working with school-age children Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential Vermont Program Director Credential Vermont Teaching License Masters degree in a youth-related field
