Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:
Provides innovative leadership and oversight in the planning and optimization of multiple free standing imaging centers throughout the Baptist system.
Essential Functions:
Responsible and accountable for income statement of each free-standing center
Liaison with Center Board Members (where applicable) and/or Center Leaders to
Prepare and review Board meeting agendas that include approval for proposed decisions to create operational and financial success for each center
Adhere to bylaws and other applicable governance documents
Casts vision for each center
Visit and tour each center quarterly
Management fee/structure
Lease terms
Financial metrics: volume, revenue, expense, margin, payer mix, AR, variance to budget, etc.
Operational metrics: throughput, next available appointment, etc.
Quality metrics: patient events, reactions, etc
Confirm regulatory requirements are met
Patient Experience metrics if applicable
Works with Managed Care to optimize and improve reimbursement rates and initiate / explore alternative payment models with payors.
Build and implement a growth strategy with new and existing referring providers.
Report trends or significant areas of success or concerns to Baptist Leadership
Compare and contrast metrics and apply best practices or recommend changes across the centers
Create and maintain Imaging Center Road map / 5-year plan regarding growth and opportunities
Manage business partner and/or Radiologist relationships
Overview
Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:
Provides innovative leadership and oversight in the planning and optimization of multiple free standing imaging centers throughout the Baptist system. These include Joint Ventures, BMG and hospital outpatient departments that are free standing . Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, designing a blueprint for strengthening/building Baptist’s freestanding imaging center strategy working in close coordination with the Baptist Medical Group and the Radiology Service Line as well as other Baptist senior leaders, physician constituents, and/or key stakeholders. Provides clear business rationale using financial assumptions/projections in the advancement and growth of freestanding imaging centers within communities served. Focuses market expansion on operational and service opportunities, accessibility, high value care, and strong financial performance. Integrates operational processes, systems, and technology to drive synergies, standardization, where appropriate, scalability, alignment, and accountability.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Health Care Administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years progressive, out-come oriented management experience in imaging centers or related fields.
Extensive knowledge of health care issues, trends, legal compliance and group practice management/ network development models.
Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation and administration of service and program delivery.
Physical Requirements
Work requires little or no physical effort. Lifting or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) is intermittent (not a routine part of the job) and secondary to the job.
