Executive Director Position

The Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization and continue our commitment to exceptional service at Leisure World Seal Beach (LWSB).

LWSB is a nationally recognized 55+ senior community with 9,600 residents located in beautiful Seal Beach, California, where sunny days meet ocean breezes. Spread over 542 acres, Leisure World offers the charm of small-town living along with easy access to the cultural, recreational, and entertainment amenities of Los Angeles and Orange County.

About the Role

The Executive Director will be a proven leader known for building effective partnerships, engaging diverse perspectives, and navigating complex relationships with a Board of Directors, executive leadership, and a vibrant resident community.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible leadership in retirement community management, large-scale community management, municipal administration, property management, and/or association governance.
• Executive management experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Certification through the California Association of Community Managers (CACM), or ability to obtain CACM or an equivalent recognized certification.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, with ongoing compliance required for relevant community association operations.

Compensation & Benefits

GRF offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range is $176,000 to $231,462 based on qualifications and experience.
