The Great Miami Valley YMCA is seeking an Executive Director for our Atrium Location. Under the direction of the District Executive Director and in alignment with the YMCA’s Christian mission, the Executive Director will oversee the administration and operation of the Atrium branch, which serves 1,400+ family-focused membership units. Responsibilities include managing diverse programs such as group exercise, family programming, swim lessons, and youth sports, as well as facilities like a lap pool, therapy pool, whirlpool, spin studio, free weight area, cardio area, two basketball courts, a multipurpose court, and a full-day child care center for infants to pre-K. The role also involves leading the development of a new outdoor water park, set to open in 2026, ensuring all operations align with YMCA policies and strategic goals. 1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management or related field preferred. High school diploma or the equivalent required.

Proven track record of developing authentic and deepened relationships with others. 5. Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of Branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development. 6. Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to recruit top community leaders. 7. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. 8. CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
