Ke Ola Mamo, the Native Hawaiian Health Care System serving all of O'ahu, established under the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act of 1988, and focused on providing services and activities on improving the health and quality of life of Native Hawaiians, is looking to fill the position of Executive Director, to start on or about October 15, 2025. Applicants must possess the following Qualifications and Characteristics:
*Duration of Work Hours/Salary/Location:*
The KOM Executive Director is a full-time salaried position, with the office located in the Dole Cannery Bldg in Kaka'ako. A competitive compensation package includes: A generous annual salary (commensurate with experience), paid time off, that includes: vacation, sick leave, and 13 Holidays (State and Federal combined).
*Education:*
Masters Degree from an accredited University, in one of the following areas: Medicine, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Work, Law, or related Degree.
*Experience:*
_Has 6 or more years minimum experience in the following areas:_
* Organization oversight and management; demonstration of strong leadership; * Fiscal/Budget Management and oversight; * Fundraising - nowledge of and experience with Local and Federal funding sources, including Grantmaking, Management, Evaluation, and Annual Reporting; * Non-profit experience and management; and knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines; * Interaction with other local Non-profits, and Non-profit supporting resources; * Experience interacting with Local and National Government entities supportive of the vision of Ke Ola Mamo; * Knowledge of Government regulations as it applies to Health Care systems in Hawai'i; * Familiarity with/or knowledge of, Health Care Management practices, and the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act; * Assessment of staffing patterns/assignments/evaluation; * Demonstrates strong leadership, and Leadership Development; * Practice of Native Hawaiian cultural values; * Has demonstrated skills to manage multi-community sites and teams; * Experience interacting with Hawaiian communities, and supportive of community-led intiatives; * Experience working/interacting with a Board of Directors.
