The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management of the residence, ensuring quality care and service. Responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, supervising staff, maintaining occupancy, community representation, and fostering a positive culture.
Essential Functions:
Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living.
Grow community occupancy through positive interactions with potential residents and professionals.
Manage the overall operations, delegating responsibilities as needed.
Maintain open communication with staff, residents, and families.
Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
Develop and implement quality improvement and safety programs.
Manage outreach and community partnerships.
Provide resources for staff to perform their duties effectively.
Implement operating and financial controls.
Plan and oversee staff training and orientation.
Encourage teamwork and continuous improvement.
Conduct staff reviews and handle corrective actions fairly.
Review incident reports and ensure safety protocols.
Prepare and manage the annual budget.
Address resident complaints and grievances appropriately.
Maintain accurate records of services provided.
Ensure proper staffing levels and backup coverage.
Participate in required training and community programs.
Provide daily operational leadership.
Participate in the Manager-on-Duty program.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Computer literacy in office software.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and lead a management team.
Knowledge of long-term care or related fields, and current standards.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum 25 years of age with management experience.
State-specific licenses or certifications as required, including Rhode Island Assisted Living Administrator License, CPR, and First Aid.
