About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Specialty and Ambulatory Pharmacy to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across its critical and high-growth pharmacy service lines. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovation, advancing health equity, and optimizing performance in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, ambulatory pharmacy, and infusion services. This role requires a leader who can ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered pharmaceutical care, while also being accountable for financial sustainability, and growth, and leading multidisciplinary teams. The Executive Director will play a key role in government advocacy, policy engagement, and 340B program stewardship, and must have a strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative landscapes.
Candidates for this position at the company should have an advanced degree in pharmacy or a related field, with a preference for those with an MBA or MHA, and a valid pharmacist license in the State of Massachusetts. A minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in pharmacy or related optimization, or business experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advancing health equity, reducing disparities, and innovating care delivery. Expertise in 340B program optimization, and experience in an academic medical center, are also preferred. The role demands excellent strategic planning, contract negotiation, and organizational leadership skills, as well as the ability to promote collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to the values of the organization.
