About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Service Delivery within the Office for Students with Disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, continuous improvement, and operations of the service delivery department, with a focus on increasing high-quality standards in instruction and improving outcomes for students with disabilities. This role involves ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines and policies related to special education, as well as supervising and developing a team of professionals. The Executive Director will also be involved in the comprehensive assessment of the development of compliant and data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and will be accountable for the design, development, and management of processes and procedures to support the district's vision for special education.

Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant educational field, a valid Professional Education License, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in district leadership, case management, or similar roles supporting diverse learners. Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to foster trust and collaboration, and to effectively lead a team of technically-skilled employees. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in decision-making, resource management, and the ability to handle multiple activities while meeting deadlines. The Executive Director will also be expected to have excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including families and the general public.
