About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Portfolio Contract Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the creation and delivery of gross-to-net contract strategies across various business units. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, particularly in the areas of sales, market access, and healthcare delivery systems. The Executive Director will direct a large team, spearhead negotiation strategies, and develop efficient contracting solutions informed by market research and competitive intelligence. They will also be involved in governance and decision-making, policy analysis, and will serve as a key member of the US Leadership Team, engaging in strategic interactions with government and private payers.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field, and at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. A strong background in analytical problem-solving, forecasting, contract development, financial modeling, negotiation, and relationship management is essential. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or advanced finance experience, multi-sector marketing experience, and a strong grasp of pharmaceutical business models. Functional experience in HCP/consumer marketing, medical affairs, and/or government affairs is also desirable. The role demands a leader who can provide operational support, lead innovative contracting, and maintain competitive intelligence. The Executive Director will be expected to mentor and develop their team, ensuring a culture of performance and accountability.
