About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI). The successful candidate will be a key leader in advancing the organization's AI strategy across academic, research, and healthcare missions. This role involves overseeing the Center's operations, including strategic planning, communications, outreach, and education. The Executive Director will also be responsible for internal coordination, event management, and supervising administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of initiatives. A critical aspect of the position is to work closely with the Chief AI Officer and other stakeholders to define and promote the Center's vision, translating complex AI research and clinical innovations into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should possess a deep understanding of AI's potential to transform healthcare and research. The role requires a candidate with strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading digital content development, science writing, and social media engagement. They will also be expected to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, support fundraising efforts, and promote awareness of AI's role in healthcare and research. The Executive Director will serve as a liaison between the Center and various entities, including leadership, faculty, clinicians, donors, and the public, and will work closely with the Development and Communications offices to elevate the Center's profile.
