The Executive Director of Supply Chain Operations is a strategic and results-driven leader with 10+ years of experience managing end-to-end healthcare supply chain operations across hospitals, clinics, and ancillary services. Expertise includes logistics, inventory control, ERP systems, and automated supply technologies, with a focus on operational efficiency, cost containment, and regulatory compliance. The role involves implementing data-driven strategies to align with clinical goals, improve service levels, and support patient care excellence. Key responsibilities include leading and managing supply chain operations such as receiving, storage, distribution, logistics, inventory management, transportation, and linen management across the health network.
The Executive Director ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and reliable delivery of supplies and equipment across all facilities, aligning with clinical and operational goals to support excellent patient care.
Provide strategic leadership for supply chain operations across all hospitals, clinics, and ancillary services.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures supporting clinical needs, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Manage distribution and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies and equipment.
Implement best practices to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce waste, and ensure availability of critical supplies.
Develop and manage operational budgets with cost-effective controls.
Ensure all processes comply with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and policies.
Leverage supply chain technologies such as ERP systems and automated inventory solutions to streamline operations.
Partner with healthcare providers to understand supply needs, improve service levels, and enhance patient outcomes.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Oversee inventory forecasting models and analytics for accurate planning.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Membership in AHRMM.
Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP).
Lean Six Sigma certification.
US Citizen or GC
