This key position will serve as a senior nurse executive and strategic partner, responsible for developing and implementing informatics strategies that enhance nursing and clinician practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Chief Health Informatics Officer and senior leadership across various clinical and operational areas to improve nursing practices and clinician experiences. The Executive Director will be instrumental in driving the adoption of virtual nursing solutions, reducing documentation burdens, and optimizing electronic health record (EHR) usage. You will define standard EHR work for nursing and streamline processes for optimization, making a real difference in the efficiency and effectiveness of our clinical operations. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a Master's degree in Nursing or Informatics or equivalent experience, coupled with at least 10 years of progressively responsible clinical and informatics experience. A strong foundation in nursing informatics, including expert knowledge of Epic nursing workflows, is crucial. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, particularly in enhancing nursing practices through informatics. While a Doctorate in Nursing or Informatics or AHIC certification is preferred, what matters most is your deep understanding of healthcare industry trends in informatics, nursing practice, and clinical operations.
