About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Facilities Management to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all operational and budgetary aspects of the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, directing, and management of facilities, grounds, and capital improvement projects. This key leadership role involves working collaboratively across various divisions and with external partners to ensure the efficient and effective stewardship of campus infrastructure. The Executive Director will also serve as a trusted advisor, providing high-level administrative support, and will be involved in the development and administration of departmental work plans, budgets, and institutional goals.

Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' professional physical plant experience, with a strong background in construction management, planning and design, and the implementation of multi-year capital programs. The role requires a candidate with in-depth knowledge of physical plant operations, maintenance, and safety, as well as engineering and architectural planning. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills, and the ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment. A Master's degree, 7 years' of experience, and CEFP certification are preferred. The role demands a leader who can create and maintain effective working relationships, is adept at problem-solving, and can make sound decisions that impact the community and organization.
