About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Development for Vision to lead strategic fundraising efforts in support of the Department of Ophthalmology and the Institute for Vision Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing a portfolio of major gift prospects, cultivating donor relationships, and soliciting gifts to meet annual goals. This role requires a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' of experience, ideally in a fundraising, nonprofit, or higher education environment. The Executive Director will work closely with campus leaders to develop and implement donor-centric strategies, and will be expected to have a deep understanding of philanthropic giving and the ability to effectively communicate the impact of donations.
