The role you will contribute:
The Executive Director of Clinical Support Operations is responsible for the local execution and performance of clinical support services at AdventHealth Orlando, including imaging, inpatient rehab services, respiratory, laboratory, inpatient wound care, VAS, and clinical staffing resources. This leadership position partners with nursing to ensure continuity and collaboration of clinical support services impacting outpatient, emergency, and inpatient care. Additionally, this role oversees the operations center, including house supervisors and decedent care support. The Executive Director collaborates closely with the COO, CNO, and functional owners to deliver high-quality outcomes, effective performance, and team engagement. The role also emphasizes outstanding customer service and respectful relationships.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Leadership and oversight of daily operations at AdventHealth Orlando for various departments; budget management; standardization and alignment across the system; team engagement and process improvement; quality and effectiveness assessment; coaching staff; performance evaluation.
COMPLIANCE/REGULATORY RESPONSIBILITY: Ensuring staff training on current codes and regulations, providing guidance on policy interpretation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
OPERATING & CAPITAL BUDGET/FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Developing and monitoring budgets; planning for capital projects and equipment needs.
STRATEGIC PLANNING RESPONSIBILITY: Providing strategic input, developing innovative ideas, aligning processes, and making data-driven decisions.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT RESPONSIBILITY: Participating in performance improvement activities; cost management; professional development; benchmarking; building interdepartmental relationships.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITY: Representing the department externally; promoting community involvement through various campaigns.
STAFFING/LABOR/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Workforce planning; coaching and mentoring staff; maximizing human resources.
