The Executive Director of 340B, Inventory and Supply Chain Management will be a highly analytical and strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and a deep understanding of complex systems. They will oversee the 340B program, supply chain for retail pharmacies, home infusion pharmacies, wholesale distribution, and home medical equipment within the health system. The individual will possess strong problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness across all supply chain operations and other business areas, aligned with the health system's supply chain. Reporting to the COO at JH Care at Home, they will support and lead purchasing negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to position JHCH positively. They will chair 340B Committees and meetings and present information to the Board of Trustees and the Executive Oversight Committee. As a member of JHCH's corporate staff, the Executive Director will lead performance improvement initiatives aimed at lowering expenses related to patient care products and equipment. Role Accountabilities Include: Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive strategies for the 340B program, ensuring regulatory compliance and maximizing benefits for the health system. Manage 340B operations related to the pharmaceutical supply chain. Oversee inventory management and purchasing functions for Home Medical Equipment, Wholesale Distribution, and Pharmacies across the organization. Manage drug distributor contracts and direct-from-manufacturer contracts (both drug and data), serving as the local liaison for the program with drug distributors, other JHHS purchasing representatives, the group purchasing organization, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Manage daily operations of the 340B Program, including staffing, documentation, communication, and collaboration. Handle returns, credits, rebills, and purchase adjustments for all 340B and non-340B purchases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical equipment. Minimum of 5 years experience specifically in the 340B program and/or pharmaceutical or med/surg supply management, with working knowledge of group purchasing organizations. Financial and budgeting experience is required. Salary Range: $235,000 - $300,000 per year, with compensation commensurate with experience and role scope.
