About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of empowering first-generation, low-income youth to achieve their college dreams. The successful candidate will be a strategic and mission-driven leader, responsible for providing vision and direction to align the organization's goals with its mission. This role involves identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth, strengthening core programs, and leading a comprehensive fundraising strategy. The Executive Director will also ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive programming, and oversee the financial health and operational infrastructure of the organization. A key aspect of the position is fostering a collaborative, positive, and professional culture, and engaging with the Board of Directors to support the organization's governance and strategic development.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of 5-7 years' senior leadership experience in a mission-driven organization, preferably in an educational nonprofit setting. The role requires demonstrated excellence in fundraising, strong relationship-building skills, and a business-minded approach to financial oversight and sustainable planning. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and agile leader, with a track record of managing high-performing teams, and will possess outstanding communication skills.
