WhatYou’llBeDoing: Leadday‐to‐dayoperationsandstaffmanagement. Developandmanagetheannualbudgetandassociationfinances. Representthewaterutilityprofessioninlegislativeandregulatorymatters. Coordinateeducation,training,andprofessionaldevelopmentprogrammingacrossthestate. Buildrelationshipswithpublicagencies,othernonprofits,andstakeholders. Planandmanageannualconferencesandevents. CommunicateregularlywithMWUAmembersthroughnewsletters,meetings,andmedia. WhatWe’reLookingFor: ABachelor’sdegreeinpublicwatersupply,engineering,lifesciences,business, communications,orarelatedfield. Atleast5yearsofprovenleadershipexperience,ideallyinamanagerialornonprofitsetting. Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. Experiencewithbudgeting,advocacy,personnelmanagement,andcommunitypartnerships. FamiliaritywithMaine’slegislativeandregulatoryenvironmentisaplus. Validdriver’slicenseandabilitytotravelthroughoutMaine(occasionalevenings,weekends,or overnightstaysrequired). WhyMWUA? Afulfillingleadershiprolewithawell‐respectedstatewideassociation.
