About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Internal Audit with a focus on Financial Crimes Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of auditors in the evaluation of systems and controls that are in place to detect and prevent financial crimes. This role involves the design and execution of the annual audit plan for financial crimes technology, ensuring it is in line with the internal audit strategy. The Executive Director will also manage audit engagements, mentor staff, and work closely with senior stakeholders across compliance, risk, and technology.

Applicants for this position should have an advanced degree in technology, computer science, or computer engineering, and hold relevant professional certifications such as CAMS, CISA, CIA, or Advanced CAMS-AUDIT. A strong background in compliance technology systems, particularly those related to financial crimes, is essential. Experience in internal audit, financial crimes compliance, or technology risk is required, with in-depth knowledge of AML platforms being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, as well as strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Exposure to AI/ML-based financial crime detection models is also a desirable attribute.
