About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources Operations to play a pivotal role in the Talent Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing high-volume HR operations functions, including staffing operations, employee records and data management, school-based HR partnerships, substitute services, and the HR contact center operations. This role demands a strategic leader who can ensure that HR operations align with the company's vision and goals, particularly in the areas of academic progress, financial stability, and integrity. The Executive Director will also be accountable for developing and implementing HR operations strategies, leading districtwide initiatives, and overseeing HR processes to guarantee accurate and timely staffing for schools and central office departments.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 8 years' of relevant HR leadership experience, with a strong background in managing HR business partners, staffing operations, and HR in a unionized environment. Experience in the public sector or a K-12 school setting is strongly preferred. The role requires a candidate with extensive leadership expertise, the ability to set high standards, and a commitment to the company's mission and instructional goals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team-building skills are essential, as is the ability to interact and collaborate with employees at all levels with professionalism and diplomacy. The Executive Director will be expected to manage sensitive information with discretion and to demonstrate a high level of integrity, credibility, and professionalism.
