About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Global Head of Medical Affairs Technology to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports the strategic goals of the medical affairs division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the global delivery of technology tools that enable evidence generation, strategic content management, customer engagement, and relationship management. This role requires a leader who can align technology solutions with performance expectations, continuously adapt systems to the evolving technology landscape, and cultivate tool advocacy with senior leadership. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a global team, partnering with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation and sustainment of technology initiatives.
Candidates for this role at the company should have a college degree with 10 to 12 years of experience in global medical affairs technology, particularly in CRM, analytics, and technology modernization. Additional certifications in Veeva or data science are preferred. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in business case development, planning, and management of medical affairs technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage teams in a matrix environment, and a strong focus on delivering creative and effective technology solutions. A background in LEAN methodology and experience in change management, as well as a commitment to ethical standards and the ability to foster collaboration, are essential.
