About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Continuing Education to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for all non-credit workforce, professional, and personal development programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, growth, and financial sustainability of the division, ensuring its alignment with the company's mission and the economic needs of the community. This role involves driving program innovation, establishing relationships with key community stakeholders, and overseeing all aspects of the division's operations, including budget administration, marketing, enrollment management, and staff supervision. The Executive Director will also be tasked with ensuring regulatory compliance, creating and evaluating programs, and building strong working relationships with other departments to support the integration of non-credit and credit courses.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a higher education or continuing education setting. A Master's degree is preferred. The role requires proven experience in budget management, strategic planning, and program development, as well as a strong knowledge of internal processes, training methods, and educational regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead, supervise, and mentor a high-performing team. Responsibilities also include serving as the primary liaison with external partners and representing the company at community events and on advisory boards.
