About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Rare Disease Marketing, with a focus on the patient channel. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the commercial strategy and execution across the patient and digital ecosystem, particularly for inline and pipeline brands. The successful candidate will be the primary voice for patient engagement, defining and delivering best-in-class marketing strategies for patients and caregivers, and advancing HCP initiatives to support disease awareness and earlier diagnosis. The role involves working at the center of a broad cross-functional network and overseeing multiple agencies to bring innovative and impactful campaigns to market. The Executive Director will also be involved in shaping brand direction, accelerating launch readiness, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all stakeholders.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, healthcare, business administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 5 years in patient marketing, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific/medical aptitude, experience in leading media strategy, and a proven track record of driving results as a team member and cross-functional leader. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to think innovatively and drive a best-in-class customer experience. The role demands a high sense of ethics and responsibility, and the candidate must be willing to travel as needed.
