About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Compliance Program Optimization. This key leadership role is focused on facilitating the execution of compliance strategies to mitigate risk and ensure business success. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead and influence, and will be responsible for continuously assessing and optimizing the compliance program. This includes staying abreast of enforcement trends in the pharmaceutical business, coordinating risk mitigation activities across various compliance pillars, and maintaining a register of business initiatives with compliance guidance. The role also involves direct supervision of compliance teams, overseeing internal investigations, and ensuring the seamless interconnectivity of programmatic elements.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a minimum of 15 years of in-house or law firm experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or investigative role. An expert-level understanding of US healthcare industry laws and regulations, as well as DOJ and OIG guidance for effective corporate compliance programs, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate degree, be licensed to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction, and have a proven track record of leadership and management in a compliance setting. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. The role demands a professional with a strategic, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to patient and customer centricity.
