About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community media production, training, and delivery organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the organization's mission and goals, with a focus on strategic leadership, organizational management, and community engagement. This role requires a leader with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit, media, or community-focused organizations, a strong track record in strategic planning, team development, and operational oversight. The Executive Director will also be tasked with enhancing and expanding current funding sources, proactively pursuing diversified revenue streams, and building strong relationships with stakeholders and the community.

The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a background in media and regulatory expertise, including knowledge of public broadcasting, PEG access, and FCC/cable franchise compliance. They should be adept at monitoring and adapting to policy changes and have a proven ability in fundraising, grant writing, and developing diverse revenue streams. A servant leader with a deep commitment to people-centered values, the Executive Director will be expected to lead with humility, build trust through authentic engagement, and have a collaborative leadership style rooted in community partnership. Experience in working with nonprofit boards on policy development, governance, and strategic alignment is also essential. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred, and the candidate should be a natural connector who is engaging, approachable, and forward-looking, with a deep understanding of how to align staff, stakeholders, and community members around a shared vision for the future.
