About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-based independent TK-8 public charter school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and support in implementing the educational vision and philosophy outlined in the charter, with a strong focus on fostering a relationship-based school culture that supports joyful, collaborative learning and leadership. This role involves overseeing all personnel matters, academic programs, student progress, professional development, and a wide range of administrative tasks, including finance, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal Executive Director will have a proven track record in project design and implementation, the ability to innovate and lead, and a passion for the school's mission.
Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in education or public/charter school administration. A valid teaching or administrative credential is also desirable. The role requires a candidate with at least five years of successful educational experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
