About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of AI/ML Engineering to lead a dynamic team at the forefront of AI and emerging technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered applications, with a focus on clinical research, diagnostics, and healthcare operations. This senior technology leader will set the engineering vision, lead technical execution, and guide teams in building a range of AI and data products. The role requires a deep technical expertise in AI/ML and modern software engineering, combined with strong leadership and strategic thinking to shape the application of intelligent technologies in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include engineering leadership and strategy, technical innovation and execution, team leadership and talent development, cross-functional collaboration, and operational management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with a preference for a Master's or PhD, and at least 12 years of experience in AI/ML software engineering, including 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven success in leading teams that have built and deployed enterprise-scale AI/ML systems, deep knowledge of ML frameworks, programming languages, and DevOps pipelines, and experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or clinical trials are essential. The role demands excellent communication, collaboration, and executive influencing skills, as well as the ability to manage large-scale engineering portfolios with strategic and operational complexity.
