Executive Director Responsibilities: Oversee all operations of the senior living community, including resident support, sales, marketing, administration, dining, activities, housekeeping, security, and maintenance. Serve as the primary contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public. Supervise, direct, and motivate associates to deliver high-quality care and maintain resident satisfaction. Provide leadership and resolve issues proactively. Execute residency agreement renewal programs with existing residents. Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets in collaboration with the Regional Director of Operations. Meet and exceed budget occupancy goals, exploring revenue enhancement and expense reduction opportunities. Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees according to company policies. Ensure the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and property to company standards. Foster creativity among teams to deliver high-quality services economically. Maintain a strong knowledge of competitive markets and use sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy. Report on community performance and participate in goal development. Participate in the Manager-on-Duty program, including rotating weekend coverage. Requirements of the Executive Director: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years of senior housing leadership experience at the Executive Director level. Advanced knowledge of the senior housing industry and functional disciplines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
