The Execution Director will be responsible for leading the execution of the Digital Transformation Experience Portfolio , with a specific focus on end-to-end journey enablement. Thisrole will ensure strategic and operational alignment across multiple business segments, coordinating cross-functional initiatives that span product, clinical, technology, analytics, marketing, operations, and regulatory functions.
The Execution Director will serve as the central orchestrator , working closely with the Enterprise Strategy team to implement the appropriate business model to ensure accountability across journey-related work streams. A core focus will be on breaking down silos , facilitation timely issue resolution, and driving the consistent and integrated delivery of experience-led transformation.
How you will make an impact:
Leads execution of journey transformation efforts, ensuring initiatives meet defined milestones, deliverables, budgets, and strategic outcomes.
Facilitates cross-functional alignment across execution teams, work streams, shared services, and regulatory partners.
Maintains a strategic view of enterprise dependencies and ensures roadmap coherence and visibility across all stakeholders.
Provides subject matter expertise on transformation roadmaps, identifying risks and resolving barriers to execution.
Partners with internal and external stakeholders to guide advocacy efforts and align initiatives with legislative or regulatory priorities.
Collaborates with lean and agile teams to apply tools, frameworks, and methodologies to ensure efficient and timely execution.
Owns and continually refines a consolidated roadmap of journey initiatives, inclusive of cost-of-care and member experience value drivers.
Oversees requirements, reporting, strategic project delivery, and provides implementation coaching across the matrixed organization.
Develops and manages the communication strategy for internal and external audiences, including proactive engagement with enterprise stakeholders and response protocols for external requests.
Ensures journey design and delivery changes are properly communicated, socialized, and operationalized across impacted teams.
Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
MBA preferred.
Experience in healthcare, digital transformation, and journey-based delivery strongly preferred.
Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs in a highly matrixed environment strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and lead without direct authority strongly preferred.
Strong strategic thinking roadmap planning, and execution discipline preferred.
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to accelerate work in fast-paced, evolving contexts preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $138,248 to $226,224.
