The Services Team is dedicated to growing Avanade’s direct business through proactive partnerships with Sales and Practice teams, fostering deep relationships with Microsoft, and breaking down internal silos to better serve our clients.
TheERP Presales Sr. Director - Manufacturing is accountablefor partnering with sales to assist with originating, solutioning, qualifying, negotiating and closing deals. This role focuses on activating sales strategy for D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management for the Industrial Manufacturing industry andcross selling into related areas.For individual opportunities, this role will focus on understanding the client value and mapping that into the solution designed by the Avanade Solution Desk. Successful applicants will be someone who combines deep expertise, experience and knowledge the Industrial Manufacturing industry, understands manufacturing processes, trends and challenges, and is able to articulate how the D365 application suite can be leveraged to help manufacturers achieve their business objectives.The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with clients and partners at the C-suite level able anddemonstrate a proventrack record of success in driving sales growth in clients in the manufacturing sector.

Likely has 10+ years of experience in sales, presales or business development,assigned specialty, relationship building, acting as a trusted advisor to address customer needs, or driving sales in a solution-selling environment.
Key Accountabilities
Business Growth
Achieve sales growth targets in assigned manufacturing clients
Partner with Sales to develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential client accountsfor assigned specialty
Manage key client relationshipsand collaborate with others, where appropriate, to drive business growth
Engage with clients to clarify client needs and translate them into potential Avanade solution opportunitiesfor assigned specialty
Partner with Solution Desk to configure bespoke solutions that meet the client’ mid- to long-term needs
Collaborate internally and work as the client champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external client relationships and meet client needs
