Shape the future of clinical genetics at the University of Maryland's Department of Pediatrics as a Division Director and Geneticist. Lead a multidisciplinary team providing genetic services for individuals of all ages, including general genetics, metabolic genetics, cardiogenetics, and some cancer genetics. Collaborate across divisions, departments, and external organizations for clinical, education, and research activities. Lead genetics education for pediatric residents and participate in the teaching of genetic counseling trainees, medical students, and other trainees. Balance clinical, academic, educational, and administrative responsibilities, with up to four half-day clinic sessions per week. Administrative duties make up 10%-15% of the role. Opportunities to engage in research with potential for a clinical scientist track. Open to MDs, DOs, PhDs, and MMBs.
