The Position:
The Vice President of M&A Integration is a highly visible and impactful role, helping shape the future of Panorama Eyecare. This position is responsible for supporting acquisition activity from pre-close planning to full integration, and acts as a project manager sponsoring executive leadership as well as operational and functional leaders by developing and executing integration strategies that support each transaction. This role is an opportunity to build a new function from the ground up as the company’s first integration hire.
Responsibilities:
Drives accountability by partnering with an extended team of cross functional leads to develop integration strategies and plans for each deal that yields outcomes aligned with the acquisition rationale.
Develops and manages full scope integration plan, including creation of functional playbooks and workstreams.
Leads the evaluation of key issues, assessment of integration challenges and development of post-close plans; holds leaders accountable to integration project plan and associated timelines.
Effectively communicates project progress, issues, and goal achievement across senior leadership and project team audiences.
Serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, organizational leaders, and assigned teams while surfacing opportunities and roadblocks throughout integration.
Leverages superior communications to drive integration efforts and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives and target companies.
Proactively contributes to the identification and implementation of M&A integration best practices across our teams.
Requirements
Who You Are:
Demonstrates strategic thought leadership with ability to operate at a tactical level as needed with high attention to detail.
Ability to effectively motivate others with structure and flexibility; manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively across multiple locations and geographies.
Ability to establish and build close working relationships while being a collaborative, team-oriented planner and decision-maker.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization; able to frame issues and make recommendations for resolution. Critical thinking self-starter with solid business acumen; ability to influence without authority.
Energetic with a get-it-done-right attitude, lots of patience and good sense of humor.
Experience documenting, communicating, and responding quickly to inquiries and challenges.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare management; MBA, MHA, PMP certification preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in healthcare and 5 years’ experience in a healthcare integration leadership role.
Ample understanding of the acquisition life cycle, integration planning, and familiarity with integration methodologies.
Working knowledge of major functional areas in a healthcare environment.
Additional Job Details:
This is a Full-Time position based in Colorado, requiring travel between assigned locations.
Compensation for this role will be $115,000-200,000 based on experience/certification.
This is a bonus eligible position.
