Director, Vacation Rental & Transport Business Effectiveness Introduction to Team: Travel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions. Make An Impact! As an integral member of TPA's VR and Transport leadership teams, this role is an advocate, problem solver and trusted liaison to the extended leadership team. The role will have the acumen to handle complex situations and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including balancing progress on long-term projects with the urgency of immediate operational demands. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated ability to; deal with confidential information, implement operational governance, define the rhythm of the business and act as a trusted advisor and confidant to LOB executives, driving communication, collaboration, and alignment to achieve the teams’ Operating Plan. The Director will design and streamline both day-to-day and strategic business operations, develop communications for the group, provide project management and support on initiatives, drive a high functioning leadership team and cross-EG programs relating to org design and culture. This role collaborates to achieve actionable results through others, requires the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, as well as the capability to successfully interact with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly. • Facilitate the flow of accurate and timely information, communication and alignment throughout the three separate leadership teams to accelerate speed and quality of decision making and execution. • Drive rhythm of the business- prioritize and set cadence for internal communications, Slack channels, leadership meetings and weekly staff focus, offsites and Town Halls. • This also includes partnering with analytics and finance on trading needs and rhythms, product roadmaps and reviews, marketing reviews, operational servicing reviews, resource allocation frameworks, and more. • Lead the organizational rhythms and check in points on LOB OKRs and contributing to annual planning processes. • Partner across TPA, Product/Tech and Brand teams on strategic projects, scorecard delivery and comprehension and ad-hoc items as needed. Thinking holistically and strategically about processes, policy and procedural needs, continuous improvement and clear the path to execution. Leader Effectiveness: Manage the strategic and day-to-day operations of the teams by helping the leadership team navigate challenging problems including identifying people and organizational issues that impede success, providing insightful recommendations that drive efficiencies and maximize productivity and effectiveness, and listening to feedback to refine and evolve solutions.
• Assist leaders in developing org structures that optimize talent and team effectiveness. • Partner with HR Business Partner to align business needs for organizational design, leadership development, organizational health, and satisfaction, to ensure a nimble, focused and engaged teams that understand their potential. • Partner with Recruiting to track and manage open headcount, ensuring talent needs are met across the groups. Work closely with hiring managers to ensure active engagement with recruiting, development of detailed, effective job descriptions, and new employee on-boarding.

Manage the strategic and day-to-day operations of the teams by helping the leadership team navigate challenging problems including identifying people and organizational issues that impede success, providing insightful recommendations that drive efficiencies and maximize productivity and effectiveness, and listening to feedback to refine and evolve solutions. · Lead the organizational rhythms and check in points on quarterly goals and helping to develop the annual strategic plan. Business Alignment: ·Help foster a culture of engagement and inclusion. Partner with the LT to review, discuss and action Your Voice results and engage with LOB leadership teams on focus areas in close collaboration with HRBP. · Provide leadership and business inputs for strategic and ad-hoc initiatives, acting as voice of leadership as proxy where needed. Eg. Salesforce unification, job architecture, urgent investment opportunities, etc. · Partner with Finance to ensure the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes are appropriately sequenced and linked to org priorities and resource investments. · Partner with HR Business Partner to align business needs for organizational design, leadership development, organizational health, and satisfaction, to ensure a nimble, focused and engaged teams that understand their potential. · Partner with Strategy & Performance teams on strategic projects, scorecard delivery and comprehension and ad-hoc items as needed. Thinking holistically and strategically about processes, policy and procedural needs, continuous improvement and clear the path to execution.

Experience and Qualifications: · 10-15+ years’ experience as a senior leader / executive in a complex global environment · BS or BA in related field; MBA a strong plus · Prior experience in a senior level project / program / product management role or in a chief of staff role for a senior executive · Experience in multiple functional areas within large multinational corporations · Ability to travel as required · Advanced skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel #LI-EE1 The total cash range for this position in Austin is $197,000.00 to $275,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $315,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
