Consults with senior stakeholders on overarching enterprise strategy to determine nature and priority of desired video content to most effectively advance company initiatives.
Conceptualizes, writes, and develops engaging video scripts and storyboards that highlight the challenges dentists face and showcase dental technology solutions (e.g., clinical tools, materials, techniques) to improve practice efficiency and patient outcomes.
Plans and coordinates all aspects of video production, including scheduling shoots, scouting locations (e.g., dental offices, clinics, or labs), and identifying and securing talent (e.g., dentists, dental staff, or patients for interviews or demonstrations).
Produces and directs on-location and in-studio video shoots, ensuring high production quality and alignment with the Company’s brand vision. Operates or oversees the use of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture professional-grade footage, on time and within budget. Tags content as needed with metadata and other identifying descriptions for ease of sorting and retrieval.
Edits video content using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve) and emerging technologies (e.g. generative AI toolsets) to create polished, engaging videos, on time and within budget. Incorporates graphics, animations, and sound design to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Works closely with the marketing team (e.g., brand managers, copywriters, graphic artists, production crew, etc.) subject matter experts (e.g., dentists, engineers, etc.), and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with Glidewell’s mission to advance dental care.
Prepares and optimizes videos for publication on YouTube and Glidewell TV (proprietary connected television network), ensuring adherence to platform-specific requirements and best practices for audience engagement.
Manages multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines and budgets while maintaining high creative and technical standards. Logs footage, maintaining HIPPA compliance where necessary, and utilizes marketing management software (Adobe Workfront) to schedule, organize, and complete projects.
Conducts offsite video shoots at dental practices, conferences, or other relevant locations, as needed, to capture authentic human-interest stories and related visual footage.
Stays up to date on dental industry trends, video production techniques, and digital content strategies to ensure innovative and relevant content.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in video production, with a focus on nonfiction storytelling, documentary-style content, or branded content.
Proven ability to write, produce, direct, and edit high-quality video content for digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, connected TV, or similar).
Experience working with professional video equipment (e.g., cameras, lighting, microphones) and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, After Effects).
Reel or portfolio showcasing relevant work, ideally including content related to dentistry, healthcare, technology, or professional services.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong storytelling and scriptwriting skills, with the ability to translate technical or niche topics (e.g., dental technology) into engaging, accessible content.
Proficiency in all stages of video production, from concept development to final editing.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with generative AI software and related tools to enhance and augment content development and production.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects, communicate status updates, and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with talent, stakeholders, and team members.
Knowledge of YouTube optimization, SEO, and video analytics a plus.
Familiarity with the dental or healthcare industry is a plus; eagerness to learn about dental technology and practices is essential.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving project needs.
Pay range: $118,000.00 to $158,000.00
