Compensation: $63,065.60/year

Overview / Job Summary:
WSU Tech is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, TRIO & Title III Grants to lead and oversee the TRIO Student Support Services program and the Title III Strengthening Institutions grant. This position plays a key role in supporting student success, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and nurturing innovative initiatives to improve persistence, retention, graduation, and transfer rates.
This is a grant-funded position, with continuation dependent on the renewal of federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
TRIO Program Leadership
Direct day-to-day operations, programmatic oversight, and fiscal management of the TRIO Student Support Services grant.
Develop and communicate a clear, inclusive vision for the program and populations served.
Recruit, supervise, train, and support TRIO staff, fostering professional growth and high performance.
Identify and place eligible Student Support Services participants.
Implement activities and objectives outlined in the TRIO grant proposal.
Track program effectiveness through data analytics and prepare U.S. Department of Education reports.
Lead the SSS Career Connections mentoring program.
Title III Grant Oversight
Lead implementation of objectives and strategies for the Title III Strengthening Institutions grant.
Manage operational and fiscal activities in collaboration with the grant team.
Monitor progress toward grant goals and ensure alignment with the funded proposal.
Use data-driven insights to improve student mentoring and success initiatives.
Champion continuous improvement efforts to enhance program quality and outcomes.
Requirements
Education:
Master’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field
Experience:
Required
At least three years' experience in education or counseling; demonstrated experience in career development, financial aid counseling, academic advising, and/or assessment required.
Preferred
Experience with project development and management; supervisory skills; grants management; demonstrated experience working with diverse populations of college students, faculty, and staff."
