Director, Tax Advisory Services

Summary Seeking a seasoned tax professional to lead and expand our comprehensive Tax Advisory Services within a dynamic wealth management practice. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's preferred (MST, MBT, or MSA) Active CPA license 5 to 8 years of tax experience, including tax planning and compliance Strong knowledge of the tax code and technical accounting principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Office applications Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Leadership capability to build and guide a dedicated tax team Responsibilities Lead the delivery of comprehensive tax planning, review, preparation, and filing for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts Build and oversee a tax preparation team, including recruiting, training, and mentoring staff and associates Collaborate with Investment Advisors to review client tax situations and identify planning opportunities Participate in client meetings, offering strategic insights on complex tax issues Support wealth management business development initiatives Create and deliver internal training on legislative updates, tax strategies, and client FAQs to enhance team knowledge and capabilities Ensure high-quality service and compliance with industry standards while driving practice evolution and process improvement Benefits Competitive salary package Opportunity for professional growth within a vibrant wealth management environment Supportive team-oriented culture Chance to make a meaningful impact on clients' financial success Work within a well-established practice committed to continuous learning and development
