Overview Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR - SYSTEM BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION to join our team.
The Director - Business Transformation plays a highly visible role in helping Aspirus effectively advance strategic initiatives, drive transformative improvement, and achieve sustainable success. The Director drives the use of Lean/Six Sigma and project management methodologies and leads improvement/standardization/optimization of processes. Additionally, this role enhances organizational critical thinking, business acumen, and nimbleness by building competencies through project management and process improvement to drive efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
Responsibilities The Director engages in leading and guiding enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, prioritizing strategic value, and ensuring sustainable execution of improvement efforts. This role partners with senior leaders to align projects with organizational strategy, build capabilities in process improvement, and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve measurable results.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
Masters degree in business administration, Strategic Planning or related field preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Formal lean training and experience.
Project Management (PMP) certification preferred.
Portfolio Management (PfMP) certification preferred.
7+ years experience leading continuous improvement and project management teams.
Demonstrated experience in building new functions/capabilities within an organization preferred.
Experience linking improvement work to transformational value creation.
Demonstrated experience building organizational competency in process improvement, analysis and problem solving.
Extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
Experience in coordinating complex projects involving senior leaders and stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Exhibits high sense of urgency, attention to detail, planning, and accountability.
Proficient in navigating ambiguity and driving teams to clarity in direction.
History of developing talent and creating high-performing teams.
Proficient in developing and organizing project information and effectively presenting to a range of audiences.
Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
