The Opportunity
This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC, or Detroit, MI.
The Director, Supply Chain Contracting, provides strategic leadership in negotiating supply chain contracts, overseeing end-to-end contract management, and guiding team development. You will lead high-impact projects, mentor staff, and respond to inquiries, contributing to overall contract management success.

Adaptability and risk assessment in organizational change.
Collaborate with executives and leaders to align business priorities.
Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize contracting solutions.
Manage sourcing, hiring, coaching, and risk management responsibilities.
Lead with integrity, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
Communicate contract terms effectively to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical sourcing practices.
Identify and mitigate contracting risks.
Maintain deep understanding of major contracts and their terms.
Work with legal and risk departments to ensure compliance and maximize value.
Develop team knowledge of legal terms and contract processes.
Support initiatives to improve contract templates and processes.
Oversee contract management and negotiations for scope of services.
The Skills You Bring
Juris Doctorate required
7+ years experience in contract negotiations
Experience in regulated industries and financial services preferred
Knowledge of commodities, services, marketing, credit bureaus, and technology
2+ years management experience
Understanding of vendor agreements, including technology and software
Experience negotiating complex global agreements
Knowledge of sourcing practices specific to financial services
Ability to articulate legal risks
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Virtual leadership experience
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Experience with contract lifecycle management tools preferred

Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $190,000 USD
Salary is determined based on role scope, experience, education, and qualifications. We review market and internal data before extending offers.
