Faulkner University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as Director, Student Activities for the Student Services department. The selected individual will supervise, plan and coordinate activities designed for our students; supervise and manage student organizations ensuring sustainability and dynamic experiences for students, members and advisors; oversee the day-to-day operations and care of Tine W. Davis Gym/Student Multiplex; and coordinate the Intramural Program. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a full-time (40+ hours per week) position. Frequent evening and weekend hours as required. Summary of Duties: Supervise personnel and activities of the Student Activities department, gym and student multiplex Oversee and manage the process of approving student-related activities on and off campus Supervise all activities of the Intramural Sports program Participate in planning efforts for a campus-wide leadership development conference for all student leaders Supervise and mentor all Student Government Association (SGA) and social club processes Serve as advisor of the SGA, social clubs and the Interclub Council Implement ongoing training and leadership development program for student leaders/officers of student organizations Coordinate activities and events related to Homecoming and university social club events Provide fiscal budget controls for department Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred Active member of the church of Christ For initial application submit: Resume Cover letter Employment is conditional upon a satisfactory background check and verification of work authorization through E-Verify.
