We are searching for the best talent for a Director, Strategic Support EP & NV to join our team located in Irvine, CA.
Purpose: The Director, Strategic Support EP & NV will shape strategy and global governance and support our Leadership Team in managing our electrophysiology and neurovascular business worldwide. This leader will also serve as the Med Tech Irvine campus workspace leader in partnership with our facilities leadership.  This candidate must understand and integrate the EP & NV strategy to develop solutions in support of growth and organizational effectiveness. This position provides high visibility to senior leaders as well an opportunity to impact the formation of strategy, tactics, and execution on our most critical business priorities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, complex, and high-energy setting, able to support coordination and collaboration across the business in a fast-paced environment and have strong financial stewardship capabilities.
You will be responsible for: * Senior Leader Engagement & Collaboration: this role will have the ability to influence our senior leaders in reaching agreement and leading senior level teams without direct authority. This role will work directly with senior stakeholders across the organization, including members of the EP & NV LT & MDLT as well as leaders within their organizations. Will prepare Company Group Chair (CGC) for all MTLT interactions. * Strategic Communications and Integrated Business Narrative Development: this role must be able to synthesize vast amounts of data, perspectives, and other nuanced information into a clear, concise, and compelling story to help drive alignment across the organization. Communication audiences will include worldwide, executive and external audiences. * Project Management: this role will support critical initiatives linked to the overall EP & NV strategy. These responsibilities may include leading and delivering on complex transformational & strategic projects; conducting relevant research, identifying insights and doing analyses; creating communication materials; designing and executing stakeholder engagement plans to drive alignment with senior leaders; developing pragmatic, executable strategies and leading the implementation of these; and being accountable for successful project delivery and demonstrated business impact. * EP & NV LT Governance: this role will be responsible for supporting the CGC in setting agendas, working with teams to define issues requiring review by the EP & NV LT and the timing for these reviews, tracking follow up assignments and ensuring appropriate resolution of open issues, summarizing committee proceedings, setting a general calendar for the EP & NV LT and performing relevant metrics reviews and committee evaluations periodically * Meetings cadence and EP & NV LT board meetings: this role will have the ability to set the cadence of meetings for the EP & NV LT, coordinate and sync with the MDLT schedule, drive agendas and action items. * Engage in external meetings, (advisory boards, congresses, customers / KOL meetings) ensure delivery of follow-up actions. * Communications: this role will liaise with Global Communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging for organization in all Town Halls and Senior Executive forums. Will manage graphic design office * Confidentiality: this role will be exposed to vast amounts of confidential data where absolute confidentiality is a must * Connector: this role will be required to connect across many functions / platforms and regions and will act as a sounding board for the CGC office.
Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree required; Advance degree preferred (MBA). * 8-10+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, R&D, Finance, or in house/functional leadership roles. Experience should embrace expertise on successfully leading critical-to-business initiatives such as product launches, KOL relationships, and driving and executing on innovation projects. * Proven track record and ability to lead cross functional projects, chartering and executing on business transformational projects that lead to significant improvement in our ability to execute on strategic mandate or create competitive advantages. * Leadership traits aligned with our core values: Connect, Shape, Grow. * Ability to influence and drive change, creating followership, enthusiasm and alignment. * Global mindset advocate, Multicultural thinking. * Focus on executing and delivering on commitments with high attention to detail. * Ability to work independently, proactively, and with senior executives is required. * Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. * Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed. * Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize projects and tasks. Attention to detail required. * Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; tenacity to learn, analyze, and resolve complex situations. * Must have strong detail orientation. * Strong financial acumen. * Strong sense of urgency. * Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%, including some weekend travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.  Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.  The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.  Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
